Results of 2011 Tax Advisor of the Year awards: Mazars the most successful consulting company in terms of number of awards
Prague, 30.01.2012: The results of the second annual professional Tax Advisor of the Year awards were announced on Friday, 27 January 2012. Managers from the Mazars Tax Department Lucie Rytířová (personal taxation) and Petr Drahoš (VAT) received the most votes for candidates from commercial firms in the Brightest Rising Tax Star category.
Petr Frisch, Partner of the Mazars Tax Department, successfully defended his victory from last year in the personal income tax section of the Brightest Tax Star category. All three became members of the Dream Tax Office, which joins the award winners from the individual categories.
As a result of the voting, Mazars was also chosen as the Most Desirable Tax Employer along with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mazars also obtained this award last year.
“It is a great honour for me personally and a testimonial to the proper trend in Mazars: we place the greatest emphasis on the selection of talented people and the professional and personal composition of the individual teams. They manage to motivate each other and they take the pressure on the high quality of consulting on the part of the clients as a stimulating element,” stated Pavel Klein, the Managing Partner of Mazars Tax Consultation Department, adding: “The clients’ demands on the wide spectrum of knowledge on the part of our tax experts and on their practical approach to resolving the clients’ problems can be seen over the long term in the quality of our work. We appreciate all the awards for Mazars. My colleagues managed to succeed amidst heavy competition.”
Pavel Klein also evaluated the trends of the upcoming periods: “We can see that market is being watched closely and the quality of the individual companies’ results is being compared. Meanwhile the respective professional reputations of the individual experts are going to play a growing role in the decisions by corporate clients and individuals for the provisioning of consultation services on the narrow Czech market.”
The Tax Advisor of the Year awards aim to choose the best tax specialists from the commercial and state spheres that drew the most positive attention to themselves in the past year through the results of their work and their personality. A separate category is defined for revenue authorities. Professional tax and financial experts, clients and the public at large vote online in the awards.
