Mazars: New partners
Prague, 11 January 2010: Pavel Klein, Head of tax department and Pavel Škraňka, Head of Internal audit department were named new partners of Mazars in the Czech Republic.
Pavel Klein was named a Partner of the Tax Department of the Mazars consulting company in the Czech Republic. He is a certified tax advisor with a specialisation in corporate income tax, valued added tax, transaction consulting and property operations.
He has 11 years of experience in providing tax consultation and has been working in Mazars since 2003. He will remain in charge of the indirect tax team and the development of tax consultation for the Czech Republic, including the management of the expert knowledge and technical procedures of tax consulting. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association.
Pavel Klein is a member of the Mazars indirect tax team in the Central and Eastern European region. Thus the added value for Mazars’ corporate clients is the wide knowledge of tax legislation above and beyond local consulting. He speaks English.
Pavel Škraňka was named a partner of the Audit Department of the Mazars consulting company in the Czech Republic. He is a certified auditor at the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic and a certified internal auditor at the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors. He has also obtained the international CSOX certification and is a certified IFRS specialist.
He has been working in the company for 11 years and is advancing to the Partner position from the position of Senior Manager of Mazars’ Audit Department. He is responsible for the team leadership and the implementation of important transaction consulting projects. He actively participated in establishing Mazars in Slovakia in the year 2000.
He is also responsible for ensuring the continuous professional education and professional leadership of the Audit Department. He speaks French and English.
