Mazars is most desirable tax employer
The Mazars consulting company won in the category of “Most Desirable Tax Employer” in the 2010 Tax Advisor and Tax Company of the year awards.
The ceremonial announcement of the winners and the presentation of the awards to the winners of all the categories took place on 28 January 2011. You can find more information on the awards themselves in Czech at www.danarroku.cz.
Milan Prokopius had these comments with regard to our victory: “Compared to the largest tax colossi, Mazars is among the medium-sized consulting companies. If tax experts are clamouring above all to get into an international company with a tax team of about 25 experts, then it is deeply satisfying for Mazars. The award belongs mainly to the people in the tax team, who work well together. The fact that tax advisors are trying to get into Mazars also means that they are trying to get into a specific team to be with specific people. That is a signal for us that we have managed to create the conditions for maintaining our tax “dream team”.”
Pavel Klein
jas the Partner responsible for HR policy, added: “We really appreciate the award in the “Most Desirable Tax Employer” category for Mazars from an HR perspective. For us it is an indication of how the job market perceives us. We see the hiring process, and of course this does not only apply to the Tax Department, as an open dialogue in which we clearly tell people that in addition to the benefits, they will also have a great obligation and responsibility to the clients, to Mazars, to themselves. They will be faced with hard work regardless of the position they are applying for.”
“And we also want to see if these people are able to commit themselves in this manner. If they are, then our door is open for them and they will be given room to show what they have got. And that is enticing for people,” noted
Petr Frisch, Tax partner and one of the awarded Brightest Tax Stars of the Year
.
And in conclusion a few words from Lucie Mindlová, the HR Manager, as well: “I see the main reasons for Mazars’ victory as a confirmation of Mazars’ successful HR policies and strategy – keeping promises, the validity of our commitments to our employees, maintaining the stability of the company and the assertion for each and every employee.”
