After graduation Pavla joined Mazars in 1997, where she received her auditing qualifications. From 2006 she worked in the forensic departments of two firms of the “Big 4”. Pavla returned to the Prague branch of Mazars in September 2011. At Mazars, she set up and is a head of the Forensic and Investigation Services practice which provides services in the CEE region.

Pavla has more than thirteen years of experience performing audit and forensic projects. Pavla has managed several forensic projects in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Croatia, Slovenia and Romania. She has implemented and led projects for a wide range of clients, particularly from the manufacturing sector, real estate, health care, transportation, media, and public sectors, during which she has examined matters such as suspected irregularities in procurement and sales processes, the misuse of corporate funds, financial misconduct with an impact on revenue and profit recognition and other types of financial statement fraud, tenders awarded on the basis of kickbacks, bribery in public tenders, conflicts of interest, suspected irregularities in private and public sector institutions, etc.

Pavla has an economics degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava and holds MBA and LL.M. diplomas from Nottingham Trent University. Pavla is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)). She is a Certified Governance, Risk, Compliance Professional (CGRCP), Certified Internal Control Management Professional (CICMP) and Certified Sarbanes-Oxley Professional (CSOXP).
